Thank you for joining NSPD! We are always happy to welcome folks who want to get involved in their neighbourhoods. Your free membership includes a subscription to the NSPD Quarterly Newsletter that's packed with safety tips, event announcements, and valuable crime statistics.
Who are we?
The Neighbourhood Support Papakura District (NSPD) brings people and neighbourhoods together to create safe, resilient, and connected communities. We work alongside Papakura Police, the Auckland Council's Local Board and other parties to equip neighbourhoods to improve safety and connectedness, get prepared for emergencies and support one another.
How can you get involved?
Being involved in NSPD comes in many forms, and it's up to each member what this looks like. Here are some ways members participate:

Organise street meetups and barbeques

Create and manage neighbourhood Facebook pages

Start a neighbourhood phone tree

Volunteer at NSPD-sponsored events

Become an NSPD board member
